Social Media Specialist ? PART TIMEThis role operates in a remote capacity!Our client, Ace Digital Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic Part Time Social Media Specialist. This person will be a motivated team player who is not afraid of wearing different hats. The position requires someone who is multi-talented and open to doing whatever it takes to get a job done. You should be excited about technology, and the ever changing social media landscape.One of your main responsibilities will be to create and maintain a social media calendar, curate and post content across channels, help brainstorm, write, capture photography and video as needed, design and identify what type of content is best tailored to the ever-changing needs of our clientele and marketing tools.We are seeking a highly motivated individual to grow and engage our audience on our social media, specifically Facebook and Instagram and increase engagement on social platforms to reach more customers.In this fast-paced role, the incumbent serves as a digital marketing strategist and new media marketing expert for retail businesses both large and small ? providing vision, strategy and oversight of campaigns for Ace Digital and for their clients. Job Responsibilities:? Draft social media content? Contribute to the content creation? Build and execute social media strategy? Curate a weekly and monthly content calendar? Manage posting across all platforms? Analyze what content drives the most engagement? Through competitive research, determine attainable benchmarks? Participate in internal meetings on a weekly basis? Build and maintain digital communities for all brand pages across key social media networks? Develop, create and maintain a social media strategy, calendar, updating the calendar with relevant cultural events and significant information? Sell social media content, strategy, and posting services to clients? Implement and meet social media KPI's? Demonstrate a deep understanding of key social networks and algorithms which inform our success on these networks through weekly reports, monitoring and analysis? Collaborate with the Post Production and creative team to amplify the performance of editorial features on key social media platforms? Identify and adapt to updates in audience behavior and social media algorithms to enhance performance? Develop and utilize excellent copywriting skills for social media captions, content publishing and on other online platforms as required? Contribute to the development of our website and social platforms? Monitor engagement and respond to direct messages and commentsRequirements? Active user of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter)? Bachelor?s degree in Business Marketing, Communication, similar relevant field? Ability to both work remotely and come into the office (Bronx or Manhattan) when required? Requires travel within NYC as needed to meet with clients? Hours can be flexible? Deep knowledge of digital/new media marketing techniques.? Minimum 2 years of experience as a creative assistant, social media assistant, manager or similar role.? Social Media aficionado, passionate about content creating? Organized: Able to prioritize the rapidly evolving goals and tasks of an entrepreneurial environment with exceptional multitasking skills? Communicator: Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills ? Creative: Rapid problem-solver, critical thinker that will be a strong contributor to company and client brainstorming?
